I have taught piano lessons and played at church services for almost 30 years. I also worked in human services most of my adult life, as I have a degree in social work from Concordia College and child development from NDSU. Teaching piano became my primary occupation 3 years ago. Teaching piano is an excellent fit for me because I enjoy working with people of all ages, and believe piano is a remarkable way to enhance self-expression, creativity, and cognitive development. It is also very therapeutic! I am currently the co-president of the Central Lakes Music Club in Alexandria.
