The 614ce Builder's Edition features a torrefied solid Sitka Spruce top with figured Big Leaf Maple back and sides. Torrefication is a drying technique that speeds up the natural aging process of wood, giving the guitar greater stability and tone. Also enhancing the tone is master guitar builder, Andy Powers, V-Class bracing design. This innovative style of bracing, provides the guitar with an unmatched sustain, volume, and intonation.
